About

Paper Plain Magazine is the creative vision of Simon Corkum and Lyndsie Bourgon. It’s purpose is to use video, text, audio, and photography to capture events as the authors experience them.

The name refers to a plain sheet of paper– a blank canvas at our disposal.

Simon Corkum is an independent videographer and editor. He likes The Band, hummus, and dusty vinyl. Aside from Paper Plain, Simon runs Sweet Lime - a blog about his culinary discoveries. Though Simon aspires to have his own production company some day, he would sell out for a job at Lions Gate or HBO in a second.

Lyndsie Bourgon has a Bachelor of Journalism Honours and has held a number of editorial and reporting positions around the world. She hopes to be a multimedia producer someday, but also bakes a mean date square.
